Reset
Reset settings keeps your history. The full reset erases all N-Back data - irreversible.
A cube flashes in the grid while other cues play. Remember what happened N trials ago and press the matching key whenever a modality repeats: position, color, shape/image, or audio. Several can match at once.
In tally modes you instead type the count of matches each trial - self-paced, no trial timer.
The Classic, Combination and Arithmetic groups follow the Brain Workshop protocol: grid positions and spoken letters, cross-modal matches, typed arithmetic answers, and the crab, self-paced and Jaeggi variants. These Advanced Modes are experimental and less tested than Dual/Quad/Custom - expect the occasional bug.
